# Move from QuickBooks Online

*Bring your chart of accounts across from QuickBooks Online.*

1. In **Settings › Integrations**, open **QuickBooks Online** and choose **Connect**.
2. Sign in to QuickBooks and allow access.
3. AXO brings your chart of accounts into a preview.
4. Check it and confirm.
5. For opening balances, export a trial balance from QuickBooks as at your cut-over date and import it.

> **Note:** QuickBooks has account numbers turned off by default. If yours are off, AXO gives each account a code based on its QuickBooks ID, and still places every account correctly in your reports.

> **Important:** Connecting only reads from QuickBooks. AXO never changes anything in your QuickBooks company.

Connecting to QuickBooks Online needs the Professional plan or above.
