# Inventory

*Track stock levels and value, with every movement posting to your ledger.*

Each item can be tracked by quantity and value. Receiving goods, selling them, issuing them to production and returning them all update stock and post to the ledger automatically.

**Stock and the ledger**

Inventory screens show whether your stock value agrees with the inventory account in your ledger. If they ever differ, AXO shows the difference rather than hiding it. See [“Ties” and “Not verified”](https://docs.tryaxo.com/verified-figures.md).

**Warehouses**

Keep stock in more than one location, and find items by barcode. Inventory, multiple warehouses and barcodes are included from the Professional plan.

**Reorder levels**

Set a reorder level for each item. Anything below it appears in the side panel on Operations and Purchases pages.
