# Chase overdue invoices

*Send reminders by email, WhatsApp or SMS — one at a time or on a schedule.*

Overdue invoices appear in the side panel on Sales pages with a **Send reminder** button, and in your Inbox.

1. Find the invoice in the side panel or under the **Overdue** filter.
2. Choose **Send reminder**.
3. Pick the channel: email, WhatsApp or SMS, depending on what your company has set up.
4. AXO sends your reminder message with the invoice number, amount and due date filled in.

**Automatic reminders**

You can schedule reminders for overdue invoices in Settings. They're off until you turn them on. Every automatic reminder is logged in the same way as one you send yourself.

**Message templates**

Each channel uses a template you control. AXO won't send a reminder with a blank or generic message — if a template is missing, the reminder is stopped and you're told why.

> **Note:** Every reminder, including any that failed, is recorded on the invoice's Activity tab. A reminder that didn't go out is shown as failed, never as sent.
